Northside at Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is a recreational property management
company that manages and develops this privately owned land. Northside
was incorporated in 2006 and is operated by owners Roger and Kerrie Pattison.
Recreational development is a specialized field which requires an understanding
of wildlife and plant biology, botany, geology, archeology, forestry,
conservation, ecology, and economics. Since 2006, Northside has reclaimed
over 20 miles of old mining and logging roads for use as mountain bike
and hiking trails. In addition, Northside has built almost four miles
of single track from scratch, right through the dense woodlands. All
the trails have been signed and are maintained constantly.
Roger and Kerrie Pattison come from backgrounds of diverse and complementing experiences and interests. They enjoy living, recreating, and working in the mountains year around, and really love seeing others make the trip up to enjoy the beautiful mountains, scenic trails, and amazing vistas.
