2009 Guided Nature Walks
September 13
Join us at Northside for an exclusive and professionally guided
natural history walk. Spend an incredible three hours exploring,
and learning to identify the native, wild and edible plants, flowers,
and birds. In season, you will learn to recognize the many different
species of mushrooms. You can experience and learn about the fascinating
geology of the area and be able to participate in discussions about
forest ecology and management.
$20 per person (cash or check).
10:00 am to 12:00 noon +

both mountain and road bikes.
Sponsored by the Field Institute of Taos cycling team "F.I.Taos". This
is a timed training ride up the 8 mile Ski Valley
road from 6pm till dusk. A fun low key event open to anyone and all ages.

June 3 - Team F.I.Taos TSV Short Track
Sponsored by the Field Institute of Taos cycling team "F.I.Taos" will
be having a "Short Track Mountain Bike Event" on Strawberry Hill in
Taos Ski Valley. This fun event is open to anyone and al ages. For information

Mountain
Madness mountain
bike Hill
Climb
and Cross Country races. We have something
for everyone...from the pros to the kiddos. Again we are part
of the New Mexico Off-Road Series, AND we are also part of
the Alison Dunlap Junior Olympic Mountain Bike Series, so come
join us for a bigger and better event!
Saturday events include the Hill Climb - 2,800 ft. in 5.5
miles to the top of 12,131 ft. Frazer Mountain, and the Kids
Race. Sunday is the Cross Country Races. Pro Cash payback and
great Prizes! Live music and Saturday night Pasta Party. Make
