MOUNTAIN BIKE SHUTTLE SERVICE
Our MTB shuttle service eliminates the first 2.5 miles of climbing and
gets you right into the "good stuff". Shuttles for up to 4
riders offered twice daily with 24 hour advanced reservation preferred.
We will
try to accomodate anyone on shorter notice, but we can't guarantee it.
Access
permits are required for drop-off shuttle, which can be purchased for
$10 in the village or from the shuttle driver. Northside trail maps are
provided with your permit.
$35 per person, 4 people max., minimum charge $70 per trip (tax incl.)

Pickup is at the guard shack on Sutton Place in the
lower level Taos Ski Valley parking lot. Drop off is
at Red River Canyon Overlook just above the Bull Of The Woods Pasture
or anyplace in between.

HIKING SHUTTLE SERVICE
Hiking in Taos Ski Valley has always been for the fit, as all of the
trails are
rated "strenuous" with only the Williams Lake Trail rated "moderate".
We offer a way to see the beautiful alpine scenery without all the climbing,
or less climbing,
depending on what you would like.

Drop-off at the Red River Canyon Overlook just above Bull Of The
Woods Pasture (1-way)
This eliminates 2.5 miles of climbing up Bull Of The Woods Trail. The Red River
Canyon Overlook is a beautiful place to start your hike up or down. Explore and
hike our Steam Engine Trail, Antoine's Corner, and Al's Trail. Hike on up to
Wheeler Peak, Gold Hill, or Frazer Mountain from there, or hike our loop system
back to the village. Access permits are required for drop-off shuttle, which
can be purchased for $5 in the village or from the shuttle driver. Northside
maps are provided with your permit.

Drop-off at the top of Bull Of The Woods Mountain (1-way)
This eliminates approx. 3 miles with another steep pitch up Bull Of The Woods
Trail. BOTW Mountain is approx. 11,650 ft. and provides an awesome 360 view
that extends past Gold Hill and far into Colorado and well past the Rio Grande
Gorge and south to Lake Fork Peak and beyond. Overlook the headwaters of
the Red River and the historic mining town originally named after it. Hike
on up Wheeler Peak Trail to Wheeler Peak or Frazer Mountain and enjoy our
Northside trail loop system back to the village, or walk back down BOTW Trail.

Drop-off at the top of 12,163 ft. Frazer Mountain (1-way)
Take a beautiful ride to the top of Frazer Mountain for a spectacular 360 view
of the highest mountains in New Mexico. This is the highest destination you
can drive to in at least 45 states! Hike to the top of Wheeler Peak from
there (3.5 mi.), or hike back 5.5 + miles on singletrack and old grassy two-track
Northside trails down to the village. Access permits are required for drop-off
shuttle, which can be purchased for $5 in the village or from the shuttle
driver. Northside maps are provided with your permit.
