Expect cool summer days and crisp nights. July and August are
the rainy months. Afternoon thundershowers are common, so it's
best to get your ride or hike in early. Snowfall usually begins
in early October and ends in late April or early May. The summer
average temperature is usually in the mid or upper 60s during the
daytime and often in the 40s at night.
Taos Ski Valley is located 9,200 feet, the alpine environment
offers a cool escape from the desert heat in the summer and perfect
conditions for powder skiing in the winter. |
